- Reading Position: The last page number you viewed in the Quran reading section (1-604)
- Tafseer Position: The last surah and ayah (verse) number you viewed in the Tafseer section
The App may access the following device information:
- Device Locale: To automatically detect and suggest your preferred language based on your device settings
- Clipboard Access: To enable copying of text content from the App (only when you explicitly use the copy feature)
We do not collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
- Account information (the App does not require user accounts)
- Location data
- Biometric data
- Payment information
- Contact lists or other personal data from your device
- Browsing history or activity outside the App
The information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:
- App Functionality: To remember your language preference and reading positions so you can continue where you left off

All information collected by the App is stored locally on your device using secure local storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage). This means:

- Data is stored using secure local storage provided by the operating system
- No data is transmitted over the internet
- The App operates entirely offline after initial installation

Your preferences and reading positions are retained on your device until:
- You uninstall the App (which will delete all stored data)
- You manually clear the App’s data through your device settings
- You reset your device
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share, sell, or rent your information to any third parties.
4.1 Development Framework
The App is built using Expo, a development framework. Expo’s services may collect anonymous usage statistics related to app crashes and performance, but this does not include any personal information or your reading data.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect personal information and operates entirely offline, it is safe for users of all ages.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- Access: You can view your stored preferences through the App’s settings
- Modification: You can change your language preference at any time through the App settings
- Deletion: You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App or clearing its data through your device settings
- Control: You control what information is stored by choosing your language preference and reading positions
7. Offline Functionality
The App is designed to work entirely offline after installation. All Quran text, Tafseer content, and fonts are bundled with the App and do not require an internet connection. This means:
- No data is transmitted while using the App
- Your reading activity is completely private
- The App functions without any network connectivity
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted.
